What would you tell your 12-year-old self?

Answer: I would tell my 12 year old self to be bold. There were times when my shyness would take over. Because I didn’t always trust myself. I didn’t want to mess up.  I wish I could have really went and focused on my goals.

How do you think sports shape the lives of girls and women?

Answer: I think sports shape the lives of women and girls because it shows us how strong we really are. To purposely put your body in pain and push past when you are tired shows you your strength. You don’t have to prove anything to anyone but yourself. When you see how strong you are, you become unstoppable.

What is your greatest accomplishment in life apart from sport?

Answer: My greatest accomplishment apart from sports is becoming a makeup artist. At one point in my life, I felt I could only focus on sports but then I realized that I am more than just sports. I pursued a passion of mine and I’m so glad I did. It gives me much pleasure to show off my art work and to help others look their best and show off their best features.

Who is your favourite athlete?

Answer: Hands down my favorite athlete is Serena Williams. She has overcome many obstacles and she is not afraid to show her girly side and I love it!

What scares you?

Answer: Should of, could of, would of scares me. I don’t want to think about what I could have done, should have done, and would have done when I have a chance to do it. I try to do a little of something I would like to do. That way I’ll know if I would like to keep doing it or I can let it go realizing it wasn’t for me.

How do you unwind and relax?

Answer: I like to relax but sitting on the couch putting my feet up and catching up on my shows and watching movies. Hanging out with friends and family is always relaxing. Well most of the time! LOL!
